Do you enjoy cooking? Do your friends cook? Have you ever asked a friend to share a recipe? They text it to you or send you a link, but then when you are actually looking for that recipe to make you can’t find it? The text chain got deleted or the link to the recipe doesn’t work anymore…annoying!
That’s why Saunté is going to be your new favorite app!
Earlier this year, my friends and I took a roadtrip to Broken Bow for a fun girls getaway. We rented a cute Airbnb and just hung out the entire weekend cooking, playing games, and enjoying some time to relax.
My friends LOVE to cook so we decided to divide up each meal and one person would be responsible for making that meal. Of course while we were enjoying each meal everyone was asking that person to share the recipe. So, once we got home from the trip everyone sent their recipes through our group text. That’s when it hit me…why isn’t their an app for this?!
If you’ve ever had a group text message going you know how long those texts can get… So think about how hard it would be to have to scroll back through that group text to find a recipe? Sure, you could save it as a note or maybe there is a link you could save on Pinterest. But, wouldn’t it be so easy to open the Saunté app where you could create a group for that specific occasion/event/etc. and find the recipe from your friend?
When I told my friends about my idea they all thought it was GENIUS. They’ve been so excited to use this app and I think you will love it too!
Santé is a French word that means “cheers”. Sauté is a cooking term and is something you do in a lot of recipes.
Food brings people together for all kinds of events and occasions. Most of the time you are celebrating something, right? You most likely “cheers” to the occasion. My friends and I almost ALWAYS do a “cheers” boomerang for Instagram anytime we are together. So that’s where my idea for the name Saunté was derived!
